ShemA the EchaD

In the Torah, a peculiar phenomenon occurs where 2 letters of a certain verse are written a bit larger than the others. it is the last of the word ‘Shema’, an Ayin :y, and the Dalet (d) of the word EchaD in: “Shema, Yisrael, Adonai elokeinu, Adonai echad” (Hear, o Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One[ness] -Deut 6:4).

Put together, the pair Ayin-Dalet form a new word: ‘Ed’- Ever as in Forever.

The Ayin is the Eye, the experience, knowledge.

The Dalet is the Door, a change, a pass-through.

If your Eye is single/pure, The Door (to eternity) shall open.

‘The Eye is the Door to the eternal. Just a thought!
